Beihai Industrial Zone (short for BIZ) was founded on August 22, 2001, promoted to a Provincial-level developing zone by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government and got listed as one of the specially-support economic zones in Guangxi.On December 8, 2005, BIZ was affirmed and announced as one of provincial-level developing zones of the first batch in the country.

      BIZ locates in the northeast part of Beihai city, covering an area of 19.38 square km.The Zone enjoys amazing convenience in traffic, with a distance only 3 km to the downtown, 10 km to the airport and 10 km to the seaport, and there are speedway and railway going through the zone.

    The traffic network inside the Zone is featured by 4 roads crossing with the other 5 roads, which have a width at 25-80 m, making a total length of 15 km in connection with the city roads. The very favored geographical position plus the most convenient communication accesses enables a good logistics system inside the Zone.

      Since the founding of BIZ, many enterprises have been attracted to invest in the zone from home and abroad. By taking the action of industries concentration the following industries have been built up as Electronic information, Biological pharmacy, New energy & new material,  Aquatic and agricultural product deep processing etc. BIZ has become one of the most attractive and prospective economic zones in Gauanxi.
